Becky Brown, R.Ph.

Pharmacist Becky Brown began working at Evans City Pharmacy part-time in 2003 and enjoys sharing her knowledge of vitamin and herbal supplements with interested clients.

“It was a breath of fresh air to find a pharmacist who’s on the same page as I am as far as a holistic viewpoint,” says Becky, noting, “That’s how I take care of my own health.” In 1980, Becky graduated from Duquesne University with a BS degree in pharmacy and when on to do graduate work at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Public Health. She completed a clinical pharmacy internship at Allegheny General hospital and spent eight years working in hospital and nuclear pharmacy in Washington, DC and Pittsburgh before taking time off to raise her three children, now teenagers.

Helping clients to take full advantage of the compounding lab and additional health-related services, Becky relishes her role in people’s lives as a friend, confidante and advisor about health-related issues.

“I always liked science and chemistry and wanted a practical application for my talents,” explains Becky, adding, “Becoming a pharmacist was a good way to combine my abilities.”

Prior to joining forces with pharmacist Jeffrey Mustovic, Becky returned to Duquesne for a refresher course and now serves the pharmacy’s clientele as a knowledgeable resource.

A resident of Mars, Becky is married to Jeff Brown and serves her community as a member of the Mars Area School Board.
